Swimming the Celestial - Planetary Magic Workshop

In “Swimming the Celestial: An Introduction to the Magic of Planetary Currents,” you will obtain a foundation, and most importantly, workable understanding of a specific approach to Planetary Magic. We cover everything from correspondences to engagement and immersion methods, and even some cultural connections to help bring some of the more abstract concepts into focus. If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to empower your magical workings with the illuminating rays of the Sun, the scorching fires of Mars, or the splendorous mists of Venus, then this class is for you.
The contents of this course assume the student has a grasp of basic magical practices, such as energy and spirit work, as well as visualization (or an accessible equivalent.)
David Davis
David Davis (he/him) is the Folk mystic and artist behind Porous Palms — a platform founded at the crossroads of magic, culture, and community. As an Animist and student of the Hoodoo tradition, he seeks to contribute to the reclamation and evolution of his Ancestral traditions. The goal is most apparent in his creative and educational endeavors, which centers the exploration of different magical systems and the near-constant weaving of personal cosmologies.
